Learning Cottage Pte Ltd (Singapore)
Learning Cottage Pte Ltd (Singapore) is an Education Consulting firm which specializes in enrichment programmes for children between the ages of 2 to 16 years. It was founded in 1997 and they are the leading provider of English Speech and Drama programme in Singapore.
Learning Cottage Pte Ltd (Singapore) is professionally designed and built to accommodate to different learning styles of every unique child. Their programmes are designed to enhance children's creativity through reading, writing, music and movements and physical activities. The planning of each session is practical and fun-filled as it exposes the children to a wide range of quality creative activities.
They believe that every student is unique and hence they have designed an integrated teaching approach – 5 Sense System that consists of dynamic programme curriculum developed according to the students’ needs and interactive delivery of activities that make lessons more fun and engaging. These play activities allow our Bumble Bee children to develop physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially.
Their lessons provide a wide range of learning opportunities for our Bumble Bee children and encourage them to be active participants using all their 5 senses such as the sense of sight (Eyes), the sense of hearing (Ears), the sense of touch (Hands & Body), the sense of taste (Tongue) and the sense of smell (Nose) to explore and learn.
5 Sense System approach brings the whole education alive into the classroom. It allows our children to become more creative as they explore learning in the activities planned for them. Our children are given the opportunity to explore their own interests and strengths and to develop their own distinct individual personalities.

Øistein Creative Art Programme
Øistein Creative Art Programme is developed based on Øistein’s techniques and caters to young children, aged 4 to 6. The various approaches and fun activities help inspire children in drawing and craft making. Children are introduced to various craft materials such as chalks and clay. The programme also encourages our Bumble Bee children to express their creativity boldly. The programme consists of 16 modules and four modules per year. The duration per module (term) is 10 hours.
Comat JESI’s certified instructors (NOT Øistein himself) will teach our Bumble Bee children Øistein’s
techniques, on constructive imagination™ and drawing. Our Children’s drawings as well as crafts will be returned to participants at the end of each term. A certificate of attendance for each term will be awarded at the end of each term.
Children who participate activity in the above art programme will develop critical thinking and effective communications skills. It also promotes confidence and gives our Bumble Bee children a chance to take pride in their work and enhances their sense of independence
Øistein Kristiansen is a Norwegian cartoonist, caricaturist, painter and multi-talented designer. His shows such as Doodlechamps!, Cows and Crayons, Tutule, and Art Factory are broadcasting regularly throughout Asia and Europe to an audience of up to 100 million viewers. He has also been inspiring children through exciting education programmes and products. Øistein believes in the power of drawing to develop our imagination. Hence he has dedicated his life to inspire the world to draw and imagine.

JESI TM Reading Programme
The JESI TM Reading Programme is a systematic, effective reading method that combines the best features of both phonics and sight-reading classes with progressive activities designed to engage and stimulate your child. Their goal is to assist and support parents and teachers in developing Bumble Bee’s children reading skills in a natural, logical yet flexible manner, while at the same time cultivating a passion for reading and deepening the loving bonds between parents and children.
The programme is divided into three stages- Level 1, 2 and 3, which roughly correspond to the typical ability levels of N2, K1 and K2 Children. The duration per lesson for Nursery 2 is 45 minutes and for K1 and K2 is 60 minutes. Some interesting activities organized during lessons are games, pretend play, art and craft, discussion, songs and movement.
The programme also offers Bumble Bee children customized colourful readers and worksheets. The readers will be given to our children so as to ensure that the reinforcement of new words can be carried out in their respective classes and home as well. The teachers are trained and experienced to conduct classes in the fun ways. Evaluation will be conducted termly. The evaluation report will be given to parents at the end of each term.
